Hey Folks!
The Humane League is recruiting for Campus Organizers at (US/CAN) colleges and universities for the Spring 2017 semester, joining a team of some of the most effective animal activists in the country! The Campus Organizer role is an excellent introduction to professional animal advocacy, and students in this position will gain special insight into the animal protection movement. The Humane League is pleased to provide career advice for Organizers as well as letters of recommendation and information on positions within the movement.
This internship position pays $10 an hour as a stipend and each Organizer is expected to work approximately 50 hours per semester. No prior advocacy experience is required for this entry-level position!
The deadline for this —->application<—- is November 13th, 2016.
If you have any questions please ask José at: jvsxe.tumblr.com/ask or (preferably) jelias@thehumaneleague.com
Please reblog!
Thanks all!

Hey ya’ll, we’re closing in on our Vegan Outreach fundraiser today! We would not be able to continue our work to end factory farming without contributions from compassionate people like you. Every dollar goes to helping our non human friends.
All that donate will be put into a drawing for an original piece by me (with your favorite farm animal)! This was the piece I made for the last winner when I hit my goal. Since I’m trying to raise as much as possible within the next few hours, EVERYONE who donates a minimum of $10 will receive a 3x5 photo copy of a farm animal piece. Help me, help you, help animals!

I drew this up last year and over the past few days I’ve converted it to digital (a real pain using my tiny track pad to draw), this is what is refers to: sea lice thriving in dirty water (occurs when fish share little to no space basking in their own filth) can be found in fisheries 30,000 times more than in their natural habitat. These parasites eat away flesh of living fish all the way down to the bone and they suffer to death because of it. “Death Crown” is the phenomenon dubbed by farmers themselves. Fish are sentient beings, they feel just like you and I. End death crown by ending your contribution to the fish industry, choose compassion🐟

Hey ya’ll!
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here so as a reminder, my name is Jose and I’m one of the Outreach Coordinators for Vegan Outreach (Vegan Outreach.org). My job is to travel around the US, leafleting college campuses and bring awareness to students of the horrors of factory farming -in hopes to reduce animal suffering for farmed animals by creating vegetarians/vegans.
For those that have been following I just wrapped up my first semester of tour, reaching over 50,000 students! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of the best people while on the job and I’m starting another semester of tour this spring and will be needing places to stay; this is where I need your help again!
I’m reaching out to the veg community and asking for a place to crash and give the opportunity for others to get involved (leafleting is the easiest and most effective thing we can do for animals!). These are the states I will be hitting this time around: WV, TN, KY, IN, OH, MI, PA, MD, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA
If there are any veggies out there in these states that have questions, want to get involved, or are curious about our internship program (where you get to travel with yours truly) here are some links that you can get ahold of me through (including my CS profile to prove I’m a real person).
